Evaluation

For this assignment I have been asked to produce an original animation sequence in a medium to run for a minimum of 20 seconds. This sequence must include titles, credits and audio.

This is the scene for my animation, i created this using the bottom of a tray and white and blue clay.

This Is the two penguin Characters that someone else made but i used.

this was also made by someone else.

How I made it;

I used I Stop motion and a hue cam to get all the snaps together for the animation. Using this software I capture shot by shot my animation.  After doing this my animation was ready to edit.  i done this using Imovie.  i downloaded music files from www.youtube2mp3.com. 

How i felt i went and what could be improved;

I felt that my project turned out well it was not what i wanted my animation to look like at first, but i think the end product is great.  I think i could of improved on a lot of things that i did on the animation, i did not have a plan as much for the animation i made the characters and new the story would come to me as i went along, i think my project would of worked and looked better if i had planned what the characters where going to do a bit sooner so i had the time to make better improvements.  I also think that i could of improved the background for the animation, it was a bit basic and  looked like it had been shot together in 10 seconds.  i was trying to achieve a film using clay based animation i think that i met this target but things could of been definitely better.  

IDEAS STOP MOTION ANIMATION

These images are the idea's i am using for my stop motion animation.  they where created by someone else.

The Story is about two penguins who live on a floating piece of ice.  They Happen to one day float near a crocodile which Tries to kill the penguins, yet the penguin fights off the crocodile..

For this part of my assignment i have to show at least three animation sequences that could give me ideas and include them in my blog and say what i like about them.

This is a animated cartoon about 3 baby birds.  i like the colours used in this animated cartoon its bright and entertaining.

This is my second choice its a simple animation.  but the songs catchy.

My Last choice is the annoying orange.

CREATING SYMBOLS IN FLASH

In todays lesson we were shown how to create symbol in flash.  This would mean I could use this image as many times in my work. 

This is my Birthday cake I converted it into a symbol in flash. To create the symbol you select the image and the clicks modify and select “covert to symbol.  You then get 3 choices you can make it into a movie clip button or graphic.  I selected graphic.  If I had converted an image from the Internet flash would automatically change the image from a raster graphic to a vector graphic.  Once I had converted the image to a symbol I could then use it over and over again.

This is the character i made today using clay.  This could be use for clay based stop motion graphics.

Creating a Shape Motion Tween

In todays lesson we were asked to create a “shape tween” so upon opening Adobe Flash I This is the animated Gif I created today.  I created using Adobe Flash Player.  Firstly I opened a new file, which is called "flash file (action scrip 3.0)".  Then I played around with a few of the tools.  I used the Brush tool to draw the potato with arms. When I was finish drawing I right clicked on the top bar and selected "insert key frame" then I had to move the selected image to where I wanted it to move so after moving it I right clicked in the middle of the bar and clicked "insert Shape tween"
